It wasn't fully translated but is enough to be called "Traditional Chinese supported", please take a look. Krita, Maya, Blender, Substance designer, Quixel mixer, 3d-coat, Mari. This apps has Traditional Chinese support while the Steam page says otherwise. Oh, and there is one tiny thing that can easily be fixed: Yeah it's ok I can wait until version 5.0 or something, and frankly I think the workflow has no priority over performance (lagging) issues, "what can it do" is more important than "how it does things." (I thought a clear UI would also made developers have the better idea about what to improve, but that's not really something I should worry about.) Whether it should be tied directly to switching layers or not is something that merits some testing, but generally I think that you're totally right that Krita can learn some things about workflow from what Blender is doing. That's not to say that it can't or won't happen in the future, though. Unfortunately, Krita has a smaller core team and I don't think anybody is currently working on a big change like that *right now*. Blender 2.8 has done some very cool things that take their workspaces beyond simply changing the UI layout, and I personally agree that Krita should study and take inspiration from what they've done. I tend to agree that Krita could use some workflow improvements and that our system of workspaces could use some work to make it more dynamic and seamless. Originally posted by EmmetPDX:I'm a huge fan of Blender and I've been messing with 2.8 for a few months now, so I know exactly what you mean. So, does anyone agree or disagree? Any opinion is appreciated. And with this workflow, we would be able to adjust effect AFTER creating the filter layer. Like, if I add a "sketch layer", the system would now only display panels related to sketcting and when I select a "color layer", now tramsform tool is replaced by color wheel, etc. Therefore I unwrap the model in Blender, export it as obj file, import it in 3D-Coat and use the Smart PBR materials there for texturing.

What if we can automatically open different panels according to the layer type? In this tutorial I show the workflow from modeling a hardsurface model with Blender to texturing it in 3D-Coat. Not like it's a big deal, but here's my point: So, if I want to get my job done.flawlessly, I would have to constantly close and open different panels depends on if it's important or useless at the time. Today 3DCoat is available to learn at 300+ Universities, Colleges, and Schools worldwide. It combines different technologies: voxels and polygons - for 3D model creation. Like, when I paint, I would only use pencil, select tool w/Free Transform and transparency during rough sketch, and focus on masking after daubing, finally use only color wheel and hard edge brushes to adjust details. 3DCoat is the application that has all the tools you need to take your 3D idea from a block of digital clay all the way to a production-ready, fully textured organic or hard surface model. I mean, I shouldn't expect every open source app be as great as Blender, but I think Blender 2.8 just set a great example of how "modes panel" can sort out different functions in an app. I just got Krita yesterday, and the first thing I notice is that the UI is.not quite impressive.
